In this third and final installment of the DreamWorks trilogy , we follow Hiccup in his quest for a dragon utopia called ‘The Hidden World’. The film also introduced a new character, Light Fury, who captures Toothless’s attention and heart.

This March 8 release starring the Marvel Universe a woman, a superheroine: Captain Marvel.
The film presents the origin of the story’s main character, Carol Danvers, as a recruit for the elite military team Starforce with whom she finds herself in the midst of an intergalactic war between two alien races.
Wonder Park
On March 15, cinemas across the country invited viewers to enjoy Wonder Park, an animated film from Spain. The film tells the story of a little girl who, while exploring in the forest, discovers the entrance to an amusement park with animals that can talk.

On March 29, moviegoers witnessed the highly anticipated release of the beloved classic Disney movie Dumbo.
As we all know, the original 1941 version was an animated cartoon, but the characters are making their comeback in 2019 in a live action movie directed by Tim Burton. This new take on the endearing elephant with giant ears is just as touching as the original. Maybe even more.
Missing Link
This stop-motion animation film from Laika and Annapurna Pictures was released on April 12.
The film depicts an explorer of myths, monsters, and legends searching for the Missing Link in the Pacific Northwest. The Missing Link is a mysterious creature that is half beast and half animal.
Ugly Dolls
The computer-animated film Ugly Dolls debuted in theaters on May 3. The story reveals a clash between two very different worlds as the inhabitants of Uglyville venture out and come to the town of Perfection.
For the first time, the dolls from Uglyville struggle with what it means to be different. However, they also teach that you don’t have to be perfect. It’s who you really are that really matters.
Pokemon Detective Pikachu
A week later, on May 10, cinemas welcome the release of Pokémon Detective Pikachu, where humans and Pokemon live in a harmonious world.
There, Pikachu joins forces with a young boy named Tim. To find his father, a famous detective who has mysteriously disappeared. As they search, they discover a plot that could jeopardize their harmonious existence.
aladdin
On May 24, Disney is releasing another highly anticipated live-action remake… This time, of the hit 1992 animated film, Aladdin, based on an Arabic folk tale from the Thousand and One Nights.
Will Smith plays the part of the Ghost. The film contains new songs, but the original story remains the same. Alan Menkel, composer and co-writer of the film’s original music, will also return for the 2019 release.
Pet Secrets 2
Animal lovers will be especially happy to discover that the adorable characters from Pet Secrets have also returned to the big screen.
While the first film (2016) focused on what pets do when their owners are away, the 2019 sequel looks at a different aspect of animal life: going to the vet. The film was released on June 7.
Children’s movies released in 2019: Toy Story 4
On June 21 of last year, Woody, Buzz and all their friends hit theaters in their 4th movie, Toy Story 4. 24 years after the release of Sara’s first movie, the toy is now with a new owner, Bonnie.
A series of accidents during a road trip with Bonnie’s family led Woody to be reunited with a love from the past. You and your kids want to make sure you don’t miss this movie. It is said to be the last Toy Story movie.
The lionking
Two months after the release of Aladdin, Disney has released another new live-action remake: The Lion King. On July 19, 25 years after the release of the original animated film, adults and children alike are sure to be amazed.
The film features four songs from the original, including “The Circle of Life” and “Hakuna Matata. James Earl Jones returns to voice Mufasa’s character, and Beyonce Knowles takes over Nala’s voice.
Dora and the Lost City of Gold
Originally an adventure character in the Nickelodeon cartoon series Dora the Explorer (2000), Dora has now made her first appearance on the big screen.
On July 31, Dora’s curiosity led her in a quest to solve the mystery behind the ancient Inca City of Gold. Dora is in high school. Her best friend Boots and her cousin Diego are also still by her side in this live action movie.
Angry Birds 2
Based on the hit video game and sequel to the original 2016 Angry Birds movie. Angry Birds 2 was released on August 16.
Playmobil: The movie
On November 22, this classic toy brand made its cinema debut in an animated film of the same name.
The film tells the story of Marla. A young girl who travels to the magical world of Playmobil in search of her brother Charlie. Along the way, Marla is joined by some heroic new friends.
Children’s movies released in 2019: Frozen 2
Mystery enveloped the release of Frozen 2, six years after the release of the award-winning original. Disney didn’t say much, but the main characters of the story will venture far from Arendelle, deep into the woods.
New characters join Anna, Elsa and Kristoff and you could see them in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D. The film was released on November 22.
Shaun the sheep movie 2
So, this stop-motion animated sci-fi comedy is a sequel to the 2015 movie, Shaun the Sheep, the Movie . The film tells the story of an alien with superpowers who crashes near the Mossy Bottom Farm.
Meanwhile, Shaun takes advantage of the opportunity to experience an alien adventure. The sheep and his friends go on a mission to send the visitor home before a sinister organization catches her.
A Shaun the Sheep Movie: The Space Sheep hits theaters December 13.
Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of the Skywalker
The last 2019 movie on our list is the ninth and final installment of the Stars Wars movie franchise. And while kids will definitely enjoy the movie, their parents and grandparents will enjoy it too. They have grown up enjoying this epic saga. The film will certainly go down in history.
