A week later, on May 10, cinemas welcome the release of Pokémon Detective Pikachu, where humans and Pokemon live in a harmonious world.

There, Pikachu joins forces with a young boy named Tim. To find his father, a famous detective who has mysteriously disappeared. As they search, they discover a plot that could jeopardize their harmonious existence.

The film features four songs from the original, including “The Circle of Life” and “Hakuna Matata. James Earl Jones returns to voice Mufasa’s character, and Beyonce Knowles takes over Nala’s voice.

Dora and the Lost City of Gold

Originally an adventure character in the Nickelodeon cartoon series Dora the Explorer (2000), Dora has now made her first appearance on the big screen.

On July 31, Dora’s curiosity led her in a quest to solve the mystery behind the ancient Inca City of Gold. Dora is in high school. Her best friend Boots and her cousin Diego are also still by her side in this live action movie.

Mystery enveloped the release of Frozen 2, six years after the release of the award-winning original. Disney didn’t say much, but the main characters of the story will venture far from Arendelle, deep into the woods.
